MixTape (2019)

I created and produced the successful music docu-profile series MixTape for AXS TV, a Mark Cuban Company, featuring legendary rock stars such as Don Felder of the Eagles, Don McLean, Mick Jones of Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, Robby Krieger of the Doors, Todd Rundgren, and Micky Dolenz. Filmed in the landmark Gibson Guitar Showroom in Hollywood and produced in partnership with Gibson Guitars and Spotify, Mixtape is an intimate journey through the lives and legacies of some of rock’s most iconic figures, as told in their own words.

Origin Story:

When I was 25, I was reading Keith Richards’ biography “Life.” As a young man, the chapters about Keith, Mick, and Charlie living in a cramped Chelsea flat finding their musical identity while listening to musicians like Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, and Little Richard really stuck with me. Beyond the incredible musical education, I remember thinking “Hm, what do people like Keith listen to when they’re just doing regular things like driving in the car or going to the gym…” Soon after, MixTape was born.
