Comedy MixTape (2019)

A spinoff of MixTape, Comedy MixTape interviews a beloved comedian who tells the story of their life through the comedy the love. In this proof of concept, Jeff Garlin (Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Goldbergs) reflects on his inspirations, influences, and ideas about comedy. From Jimmy Durante to John Mulaney and everyone in between, Comedy Mixtape is a journey for those who love to laugh.

Origin Story:

It was about midway through production of MixTape when it became clear that it could live beyond just classic rock. The brilliant Zoe Friedman joined Comedy MixTape and helped bring Jeff Garlin in during one of the final shoot days to capture a pilot. And just like that, Comedy MixTape was created.
