Comedy MixTape (2019)

A spinoff of MixTape, Comedy MixTape interviews a beloved comedian who tells the story of their life through the comedy the love. In this proof of concept, Jeff Garlin (Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Goldbergs) reflects on his inspirations, influences, and ideas about comedy. From Jimmy Durante to John Mulaney and everyone in between, Comedy Mixtape is a journey for those who love to laugh.

Origin Story:

About midway through production of MixTape when it became clear that this type of show could live beyond just classic rock. Zoe Friedman joined Comedy MixTape and invited Jeff Garlin during one of the final shoot days of MixTape to film a pilot.
