Higher Calling (2025)

Higher Calling is a documentary film I directed about life, death, brotherhood, and motorcycles. When my younger brother suddenly passed away in 2022, I went to the Himalayas of India to find answers about death from Buddhist and Hindu traditions. On a motorcycle, the journey took me through rain and snow to places I never imagined possible…

Origin Story:

My brother Sam was my best friend and, without him, I was lost. I had planned a motorcycle trip to the Himalayas as a getaway but, after Sam passed, it seemed wrong to go; I wanted to have a more meaningful experience to guide me through my grief. So, as a filmmaker, I defaulted to my instincts and set out to make Higher Calling.
